Preparing the tooth
The tooth is prepared under local anaesthesia, and the doctor assesses whether CEREC is the right solution for your case.
A ceramic crown designed and made at our practice — in suitable cases during a single visit, without a conventional impression.
CEREC is a system that scans the tooth digitally, designs the crown on a computer and then mills it from a ceramic block at the practice. Instead of waiting for a laboratory and wearing a temporary crown, in suitable cases you receive the final crown in the same visit.

Instead of a conventional impression, we scan the tooth with a camera. It is quick, and many patients find it more pleasant.
The crown is designed on a computer and made at the practice from ceramic in the colour of your tooth.
The finished crown is checked, adjusted and fixed in place during the same visit.
In suitable cases the crown is finished and placed on the same day.
Digital scanning replaces impression material.
No weeks of waiting and wearing a temporary solution.
